The Hot Wire – Kids discover the regional industry

21 third-grader of the Pollhansschule explored MediSeal and got a first glimpse of working life. But the girls and boys not only came to a common plant visit, they came to design and manufacture by themselves.

With the support of the MediSeal apprentices and of cause the necessary safety measures they were allowed to build at different working stations by themselves: bending wires, tailoring electric cables, drilling screw threads, fitting handholds and much more. At the end everybody could proudly present its own working “Hot Wire”.

This action was part of MediSeal´s engagement as a company to the initiative “BINGO* for kids” created by the association “OWL (Eastern Westfalia) machine building”. The objective of all realized projects is to awaken curiosity, joy and fascination for technology and science matters already at the very beginning.  

A very special gratitude goes to all our apprentices: their great idea and caring hospitality made this day to a very special learning experience for all the kids.
