In-line or general-purpose cartoning machines – MediSeal has the right connection

Using direct blister transfer, P1600 and P3200 machines can be operated in line with MediSeal blister packaging machines and the BIB-BOB logistics module. Stack hoppers, and filling and emptying them, as well as format parts are not needed for direct transfer. The position of the blister in the line is documented at any time in the shift register. The blisters – up to a maximum of 12 – are stacked in front of the feed station and pushed into the carton together with the folded leaflet, without touching the carton.

As a simple link between the P1600 and P3200 and the 4-edge sachet sealing machines, MediSeal has developed transfer systems which can be quickly adapted to different sachet formats. Up to 25 sachets can be stacked flexibly and directly in the cartoner’s cell-type conveyor chain using a “pick & place” system. The P1600 is available in two different sections and therefore allows a format area of up to 150mm carton width or an output of up to 150 cartons per minute.

Special feed and insertion systems also allow packaging of vials, inhalers and other special products manufactured by the medical and pharmaceutical industry.
